Renting rules in Queensland

  • The owner or manager gives you the Entry Condition Report at the start (Form 1a for houses and units).
  • You return it signed within 7 days of moving in or receiving it, whichever is later.
  • The owner sends you a signed copy within 14 days and keeps one for at least a year after the tenancy ends.
